Last week, IP phone system vendor ShoreTel introduced ShoreTel 11, which features a client for Apple's iPhone, a distributed database and the ability to access the system through a Web interface. Site Editor Carl Weinschenk spoke with Kevin Gavin, ShoreTel’s vice president of marketing. Gavin discussed ShoreTel 11 and the company’s recent partner’s conference in San Diego. Garvin also addressed efforts to boost the company's consideration rate, which is the percentage of deals for which it is in contention that it actually wins.
