Truphone Brings VoIP Calling to Nexus One

Voice app provider Truphone released an update to its Android app that makes it compatible with Google's Nexus One smartphone. The offering is the first VoIP app for Nexus One and since the device is unlocked, the app can use the SIMs from any of Truphone's mobile partners, says Download Squad.

Truphone for Android allows users to make free calls to Truphone, Google Talk and Skype when both parties are in Wi-Fi. The application also includes fully integrated multi-headed IM support for Skype, Google Talk, AIM, Yahoo and MSN customers, reports VoIP.Biz-News. Truphone's app is available now as a free download in the Android Market.
